Where is Alicante?

As you can see in the map, Alicante, is a province of eastern Spain, in the southern part of the Valencian Community. It is situated along the Costa Blanca, a popular tourist destination which inlcudes the city of Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja and other popular destinations.

When to go to Alicante?

The beginning of spring is perfect for sightseeing as it is not too hot and during the end of spring the temperatures rise an the beach time begins!

Summer is the hottest time of the year and is perfect for relaxed beach days and fun time in the water parks. Keep in mind that summer is the busiest time for tourism and therefore a lot of hotels get fully booked and the prices are higher than the rest of the year.

In order to avoid crowds of people and still have perfect weather for the beach we would recommend you to visit Costa  Blanca in May, June or September.

Even though late autumn and winter are not very cold in Alicante, we would not recommend going for beach holidays as it will be too cold. However if you want to explore the cities and the nature, do some hiking or cycling trips, it is the perfect time because the prices are much lower and it will not be too hot.
